Most 2-3BHK full home projects run 45 to 75 working days from approved design to handover. The variation is rarely about the work itself — it is about approvals, access and material lead times.
Weeks 1-2: design lock
Site measurement, 2D layouts, then 3D visualisation. Nothing should be ordered until you have signed off on this, because changes after material procurement are what actually cause delays.
Weeks 3-4: approvals and procurement
Many Bangalore apartment associations require a work permit, a deposit, and restrict working hours and service lift access. Factor a week for this. Modular shutters in specific finishes can carry a three-week lead time.
Weeks 5-8: civil, electrical, ceiling
Demolition, plumbing and electrical changes, then false ceiling and putty. This is the messiest phase and the one most sensitive to society timing restrictions.
Weeks 9-11: installation
Modular units arrive and are installed, followed by painting touch-ups and hardware fitting.
Week 12: snagging and handover
A proper snag list, corrections, deep clean, then handover. Do not skip the snag walkthrough — it is far easier to fix alignment and finish issues before the team demobilises.
